|Background|

Finley grew up in the city of Lumiose, surrounded by all the culture Kalos had to offer in its giant melting pot of a city. As a child, she was prone to illness which usually kept the young girl from venturing any further than the family’s front yard. She always longed to chase after her younger brother, Nolen, through the streets of their beloved city, but instead, she spent her days cooped up indoors. Learning and studying, practicing her art of piano, and of course singing were a few of the things that occupied Finley's time, but still, she dreamed of a different future where she was well again. Although she put on a wonderful act, Finley didn't always follow the rules. Nolen would often sneak his older sister out of the house and take her on adventures through the city when no one was looking. This usually ending up with the both of them in some sort of trouble and usually they were the ones to make a mess of the town.

The two siblings were really close and Finley always saw Nolen as her hero. He was her courageous knight who she could always count on to whisk her away from her loneliness. The sense of freedom she felt when on adventures with her brother filled her heart with so much joy, but unfortunately the fun didn't last as long as she would have liked. With strain on their marriage for many reasons and Finley's decreasing health, both parents divorced in order to provide better lives for their children. Their mother decided to take Finley away from the pollution the big city created and Nolen and their father was to stay in Lumiose, while Finley and their mother moved in with their grandfather, Anthony in the Johto region.

Anthony was a strict old man who had raised his daughter to be a polite and perfect lady, so when both mother and daughter moved in with the elderly man, all personality seemed to fade from both girls. He expected to raise Finley the same way he had all of his children and everything was to be done his way so long as she stayed in his house. He seemed to really dislike both Nolen and their father, usually going on about something his young granddaughter just didn’t understand. He was always busy too, usually with his clients, being as he was the owner of many idoling businesses and design companies. Finley didn't mind being so locked in at the time and was always so excited to meet whatever talent came to their home. She herself dreamed of being a star, wishing so badly to be a singing idol, but her grandfather turned her down every chance he got. She was still far too ill.

At the age of 16 Finley had grown into a beautiful young lady full of both grace and charm. She was healthier than she had been in her entire life and was cleared by the family doctor to re-enter society as a normal child. Her grandfather however offered her a proposal she would have been crazy to ignore. Since she wanted so badly to be an idol, he offered to pull some strings and possibly get her a shot in the modeling world. She took the offer in a heartbeat, ready for anything besides being locked in their dark house any longer.

It didn't take long for Finley to be a popular thing in the fashion world. Her friendly yet humble demeanor won over a lot of stylists and soon she was appearing in magazines and runway shows, but still, the little red head wanted ever so desperately to be a singer. Her grandfather still refused however, saying that she was anything but tacky like those lazy and unbehaved children. He never seemed to be able to crush her dreams though.

After a few years of nothing but excitement, Finley's illness seemed to flare up again, worse than it had in her entire life. Not only was pollution a factor in her health now, but it also seemed that other allergies were starting come out of nowhere. She was warned that large cities were too dangerous for her health and that a small town would be her best bet in living a relatively healthy life. That was when her grandfather began to look into Ivywood. With the population rather low and the town so open to the mountain and sea air, it looked like a perfect place to build a small manor for them all to live in and that was exactly what her grandfather did.

|Relationships|
Mom (Laura)- Finley and her mother are rather close and lean on each other for a lot of different reasons. Their personalities are rather similar. After Finley began to shine in the modeling world, Laura moved back to Lumiose and opened up a Pokemon grooming boutique. 

Dad (Nathan)- Finley and her father always had a rather fun relationship. They both loved to sing and would usually duet around the house when the family was still together. Finley misses his silly smile and happy demeanor like crazy.

 Nolen (Brother)- As one of the most important people in Finley's life, she was absolutely devastated when the two were split up and quarantined away from one another. She thinks about him all the time and can't wait to see him again when she can. She is so proud of him for becoming a Ranger!!

Grandfather (Anthony)- The two of them have a love hate relationship. Finley gets rather frustrated with him but is usually too timid to speak up about her feelings. He scares her slightly and makes her uncomfortable, but she is also very grateful to him for taking her mother and herself in.

Jules: The fangirling is to the max when she thinks of Jules. His music was her absolute favorite for so long and once she learned he stopped recording and left that world, she cried for such a long time. When the two of them met in Ivywood, she was so surprised that they hit it off the way they did. He is like her mentor now! He seems to believe in voice and her passion for music! _{He's also really cute and this red head has caught the feels~}

 Akiko: Finley loves this girl! Her music, her style, her hair! Finley thinks she is amazing and was so starstruck when they met! She really wants to become better friends with the other idol too! Hopefully she won't fangirl too much...

 Akihiko: He is like a cute pink haired brother! Finley loves his kindness and sweet personality. She has absolutely no idea that he's a thug and something tells me she wouldn't care much~

Finley carries most of her stuff in her bag and maybe some things in her pockets
-Tissues: Since she is so often sick and allergic to a lot of different pokemon, Finley carries these around incase she needs to cover her mouth and nose.
-Mareep Wallet: A cute little plush toy that also acts as her wallet! It holds all her money and varies little things that would otherwise get lost in her bag.
-Phone: Filled to the brim with music of all her favorite artists! She also has a lot of social media so she can stalk connect with her favorite stars and friends~

-Kingston was a gift from Finley's grandfather and is like her watch dog, always keeping an eye on her in hopes of keeping her out of trouble

-Finley is prone to illness due to her having really weak lungs that make it hard for her to breath. Any type of cold or virus makes it extremely difficult for her to function normally
